Post Offer Work Fitness Screens:

This screen is used post offer pre-placement to determine if the new hire’s physical ability matches the physical demands on the job. The new hire passes or fails the screen based on the job specific testing only. Measures are taken to be certain that the employee is safe to complete the screening. The employee is educated in stretching and good work habits throughout the screening process.

Work Fitness Screens:

It is encouraged that work fitness screens be completed every one to two years in order to catch any potential physical problems prior to an injury.

Range of motion, strength of specific muscle groups, functional strength, nerve irritability, and any other condition which may result in injury are assessed.

These are best completed at the place of employment to avoid work disruption.

Physical Demands Analysis:

A detailed analysis of job tasks to determine what physical actions must be performed to meet the requirements of the job. It is recommended that this is completed prior to Post Offer Work Fitness Screens. The completed report may be used in conjunction with the job description.
